In Narxoz I made a lot of friends and was taught by the best teachers. Narxoz provides not only fundamental knowledge, but also introduces people who later help as mentors or become employers. Participation in any of the events and their organization. It’s especially cool to hold joint events with University partners or find new Ones, it’s even cooler. Here I met a friend and for 4 years we became very friendly and support each other in every way. Now I can’t, because I’m graduating, I’m writing a thesis project.But 3 years before, I got a great base. I speak English at a high level. 4 years ago, I was an applicant who did not even think about enrolling the Narxoz University. Of course, I have heard a lot about the quality, features and advantages of our University’s education. Now, as you can see, I’m a couple of steps away from a bachelor’s degree. Narxoz University is a place where you can get high-quality knowledge, a huge opportunity to develop and immerse yourself in student life. Subjectively speaking, my positive experience during my studies at the University is participation in the International student and team programming Olympiad (ACM ICPC 2019-2020). In the history of the university, our team was the first to make it to the semifinals of the world programming championship. Special thanks to the teaching staff for their high-quality training, including our coach Kalpebayev Azamat Rakhimovich.
Education at Narxoz is a great start of a career!
Internships are an integral part of the educational process. Due to the status of our University, I was invited to take an internship at one of the largest banks in Kazakhstan, Alfa-Bank. I completed a 3-month internship in the IT Department, where I gained experience and skills. I believe that Narxoz University helped me grow in this direction.
My name is Aida Dosmukhambetova. I am a 4th year student, majoring in statistics. I am from West Kazakhstan region, Uralsk. My parents assured me that this is one of the most prestigious universities in the country with a rich history. In our University all is for the student. That’s true. Without any difficulty, everyone can contact the Student Desk, where he will be told how to solve the problem. Also, the educational system provides students with a variety of software that are in demand in the labor market. It is also worth noting that we have been studying English for 4 years and this gives us the opportunity to prepare IELTS. That is why students Narxoz are valuable after graduation.
In my opinion, one of the biggest advantages of Narxoz University is cooperation with various foreign Universities. This allows each student not only to gain knowledge in their home University, but also to gain experience in studying abroad. I, as one of the participants of the academic mobility program had an opportunity to receive this experience. The atmosphere during the classes is so pleasant that I never have I ever woke up with the thought: “maybe I could skip going to University today?”. Every day at Narxoz is interesting and unforgettable. It is a pleasure to learn from the teachers of my educational program “Information Systems and Statistics”. Also, international conferences, programming Championships, the international educational program in Japan, the academic mobility program in Russia – all this memorable and positive experience were acquired during my studies at the University. The University always supports students’ initiative in everything: whether it is a conference or a competition. Especially in the last year of my studies, I managed to lead Narxoz University to the semifinals of the world programming championship, which was the first case, and I also managed to participate in many events, such as the international IT hackathon in Nur Sultan, the international meeting of students in Karaganda, and various IT conferences. Participation in these events would not have been possible without the support of Narxoz, my growth as a programmer would not be possible without the University.
It all depends on what the person wants to get from the University. In my opinion, when choosing a University, a person should focus not only on the academic component, but also on how they can realize themselves in terms of student life. In this respect Narxoz has many student organizations and sports clubs. The University hosts a lot of entertainment and scientific events.
For me, the most positive experience was taking the One Asia course, where I won a scholarship from Yoji Sato. During the course, we listened to lectures on anthropology, history, Economics and geopolitics for four months, and got acquainted with many foreign lecturers.
At the University, I was able to improve my communication skills and acquired a lot of useful knowledge that will help me achieve my dream in the future. I am actively training in the Narxoz wrestling hall, but I have not yet reached any heights. The University let me know exactly what I wanted from this life. I don’t want to work all my life at work, even if I love it. I want to be heard, I want to do good, I want to explore the world. There are so many interesting things in the world and I see inspired people who also want to study it. We are part of a new generation. We are the students of Narxoz University.
My name is Ramil Iolcu, I’m from Almaty. For the first time Narxoz University conquered me when I passed IELTS here: a bright building, a cozy courtyard, but the most important thing is the changes and policy of the University. It was very important for me to associate my specialty with a passion for computer technology. So choice and fell on Narxoz. No less important fact for me is the presence of the military Department, which makes it possible to get a military card at the same time with a diploma of higher education.
