Brendan Kenneth Duprey

Brendan is the Founding Director of the Sustainable Kazakhstan Research Institute at Narxoz, University and Senior Lecturer in Sustainability at Narxoz University. He has 12+ years’ experience in the environmental sustainability sector. During this timeframe he lead multiple international projects aimed towards sustainability solutions. One most notable program he directed was the internationally recognized framework program ‘ESD in the Western Balkans (2012-2016)’ that was selected as a best practice within the framework of the UNECE Decade on Education for Sustainable Development. He is recognized globally as a sustainability leader with the ability to integrate its diverse aspects to drive solutions by connecting and leading teamwork across-sectors. As an academic, his research analyzes at environmental policy outcomes and how the implementation process can be streamlined to ensure they are achieved efficiently and effectively. Other research interests include global environmental governance, environmental policy implementation, environmental ethics, educational reforms through education for sustainable development, outcome based policy evaluation, and transformational change management.  Brendan has taught classes on global environmental governance, environmental policy implementation, and the Sustainable Development Goals. He has multiple publications, including in internationally recognized peer reviewed journals. Research affiliations include Central European University, Bard College, Kyiv Mohyla National University, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Freie Universität Berlin, among others. He has also taught classes in the Sustainable Development Goals, environmental policy, global environmental governance and introduction to sustainable development.

Neverova Elena

Neverova Elena participated in the development of the state standard in the specialty “Information systems” (bachelor and master) in 2004.
